Introduction
I am a hypnotherapist and client-focused therapist working with people in Pembrokeshire and online to help them create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is collaborative, supportive and tailored to the individual. I work with clients both consciously and subconsciously, helping them understand the patterns behind the difficulties they are experiencing and supporting them to make effective, lasting changes.
Unlike more traditional ideas of hypnosis, my work is not about losing control or becoming unaware. Clients remain awake, aware and involved throughout the process. The subconscious becomes more accessible and responsive, allowing us to work with deeper beliefs, habits and emotional patterns in a way that still feels safe, active and collaborative.
I integrate hypnotherapy with CBT and REBT, which means we are able to work on more than one level. Alongside subconscious change work, we can also explore the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that may be contributing to anxiety, low confidence, fears, unwanted habits or emotional distress. This combined approach helps clients gain insight, build resilience and move forward with greater calm, clarity and control.
Over the years, I have seen how powerful change can be when clients feel fully involved in the process. I do not believe therapy should feel like something being “done” to you. Real progress often comes from working together in a way that is respectful, focused and adapted to your needs.
My aim is always to create a supportive and professional space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered. Every person is different, which is why I take an individual approach to the work, using the most appropriate combination of conscious and subconscious techniques to help you achieve the changes you want.
